Biography

Sutherland Campbell's founder, Jim Campbell, developed an international career in sales & marketing and general management with several leading brands including Land Rover, MG Rover, Jaguar, Rolls Royce & Bentley and RAC plc. He worked closely with BMW, VAG, and Ford. Jim appointed and managed several leading marketing agencies both in the UK and internationally, including Bates Dorland, WCRS, VCCP, Carlson, MMM, RBH and Oakwood. Jim also appointed BBDO Asia Pacific, Ogilvy & Mather Beijing and led the Jaguar CRM business as Global Account Director with Wunderman a division of Young & Rubicam/WPP. His entrepreneurial flair was also further developed by founding and managing Sutherland Campbell International Limited.

Jim is now focusing on four major streams of activity Strategy, Marketing, Automotive and Eco Technology. He is enhancing his knowledge and networking through his role as Automotive Advisor to the Sustainable Vehicle Engineering Centre at Oxford Brookes University. He is an alumni of the University of Strathclyde, CASS Business School at City University and Oxford Brookes University.
